This Privacy Policy explains how Mera Digi Card ("we", "us", "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application and related services.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, phone number and profile photo, provided when you sign up (including via Google Sign-In).
- Digital card content — details you add to your business card, logos and images you upload.
- Contacts you save — information you enter or scan from paper business cards using on-device text recognition.
- Location — your approximate or precise location, only when you use location-based features such as finding nearby local shops or registering a shop. You may decline this permission.
- Camera — used to scan business cards and capture shop/profile photos. Images are processed for the feature you requested.
- Orders & payment proof — order details and any payment-confirmation screenshots you choose to upload for manual verification.
- Device & usage data — a push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) and basic in-app activity used to operate and improve the app (Firebase Analytics).
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and digital card.
- To provide app features you use — saving contacts, listings, orders, appointments and nearby-shop discovery.
- To send you service notifications.
- To verify payments and activate paid features.
- To maintain security and improve the app.
3. How information is stored & shared
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Messaging and Analytics). We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with these service providers as needed to run the app, or where required by law. Data is encrypted in transit.

4. Your choices & rights
- You can edit your profile information at any time inside the app.
- You can revoke camera or location permissions in your device settings.
- You can delete your account and associated data at any time — see Section 5.
5. Account & data deletion
You can permanently delete your account directly in the app: More → Delete account. This removes your profile and associated data. You may also request deletion via our account deletion page or by emailing us.
6. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
